The Laramie Project

A Dramatic Play

Written by Moisés Kaufman and the Members of Tectonic Theater Project

This play is a true story about a hate crime murder involving Matthew Shepard. This took place in the year 1998. This play consists of multiple interviews of people in the town who knew both parties. It is an educational performance about the injustice that people apart of the LGBTQ+ community face due to their differences.
